We’re guessing if you lived through the Boston Valentine’s Day snowstorm of 1940, even the Mayan apocalypse sounds like a walk in the park. We found these photos in a Boston Public Library set on Flickr and noted how many cars buried by snow figured into the set as well as the diversity of cars on the streets of Boston in 1940.
