According to the Boston Public Library, these two photos (from January 1972 above and November 1971 below) show the library’s Johnson building along Boylston Street as construction neared completion. The parking lot across the street, unfortunately, no longer exists to house such fine iron as populated it in these two photos. What do you see here?
