While the Boston Public Library has these two Spencer Grant photos of Boston’s Central Artery dated to the mid-1970s, a quick scan shows that they’re at least from the following decade, which makes for a great followup to yesterday’s 1980s carspotting photo. Boston’s Big Dig erased the Central Artery from the map, so instead of determining a location for the photos, let’s instead try to ID all the cars and trucks on the Artery. What do you see here?
