Before we move on too far, I want to revisit the Documerica photo from Boston that we posted last week. For that photo, Michael Philip Manheim visited the neighborhood immediately adjacent to Boston’s Logan Airport and came away with a number of other street scenes that are worth highlighting, starting with the above shot of Neptune Road looking southeast, toward the tracks. Only one of those houses stands today.
The rest of the photos are reminiscent of the Bennington post-industrial photos we featured a couple of months ago, though obviously more urban and with a different set of concerns. What do you see in these photos?
